Education 101

Most members come to me for one simple reason: They want to know my strategy for trading. However, by teaching members the markets for the past few years, I couldn’t help but notice the many faults and struggles these traders were having. By building this new site, I wanted to give more value to my members by discussing concepts and ideas that took me years to learn as a trader, as well as uncover issues I commonly see in other traders. In order to keep you up-to-date and informed, I add new content to one of the sections below each week.

Advanced Option Selling

Advanced Option Selling

This section is for advanced traders who are approved for the highest level of options trading which is level 4. It will go over the details of selling naked calls and puts which can be very lucrative but also carries the highest amount of risk. It is important to have a firm understanding of options before moving to this level of trading where we will discuss the techniques and strategies used to successfully sell naked options.

Charting Basics

Charting Basics

In this section we will discuss the most common types of chart patterns that traders use in their technical analysis of equities. Pictures and descriptions of each type of chart pattern will be presented and discussed and at the end of the section there will be blank charts for members to quiz themselves and see if they can recognize the type of pattern they see in the charts.

Patience and Discipline

Patience and Discipline

In this section I will go over what I feel is one of the most important aspects of successful trading which entails patience in every part of the trade from entering a trade to waiting until it gets to your exit point and down to exiting your position. I will also go over the importance of emotional discipline and how psychology plays a crucial role in trading.

Risk Management

Risk Management

From years of teaching others this is one of the topics I see most traders struggling with. Too many traders are either putting too much of their accounts into speculative, riskier trades, are over trading or investing too much into a single trade in hopes of an easy or big payoff.

Taking Gains and Cutting Losses

Taking Gains and Cutting Losses

This is another important topic in becoming a successful trader that I see many struggle with. Knowing when to let go of a losing trade to minimize losses and when to take gains and not become greedy is going to increase your profit margins and add to your bottom line. We will go over different calculations traders use to do this as well as how chart patterns can also help in picking exit points.

Trade Management

Trade Management

In this section, we will discuss the different ways traders can manage their open trades.

Trading as a Business

Trading as a Business

This section will be dedicated on how to treat trading as a business and different ways to increase profits and bring down your costs of trading. I will also discuss what a typical trading day is like for me, what I am doing and looking for at each hour of the trading day and how to manage the markets and events of the day or week.

Trading Tools and Indicators

Trading Tools and Indicators

Here I will go over a variety of tools I use to find trades, to evaluate trades, when to enter and exit trades and even tools that help me manage my trades. Knowing how to properly use these tools and indicators will help you become a better and successful trader. I will go over the most common types of tools and indicators and go into further detail of the ones I use most.
